Who we are.
Soho originated from humble beginnings in 1968, operating from a store in Joubert Park, Johannesburg, importing prints and mounting them onto wooden panels.
This was the beginning of the blockmounting industry in South Africa, and today Soho is the largest blockmounting company in the country.
In 1984, Soho commissioned large format laminating equipment and today is one of the leading companies in the country, laminating as wide as 1 550mm. Soho
specialises in corporate picture framing, from fine prints to certificates to box frames. We encapsulate and laminate in matt or gloss materials up to 1 500mm
wide. Our delivery time is extremely fast on all size runs, be they single jobs or mass runs. We use only the best quality imported laminates and the very latest
technology. This, together with our quality control, means that you get only the finest product and best service available.
Soho manufactures Pop-up Modular Display Screens together with Digital Printing as well as various other flexible and versatile marketing and promotional banner stands. We have manufactured and erected thousands of stands for an extensive range of clients both locally and abroad. Soho has realised the need to be versatile
within the advertising market and have installed a Dye-Sublimation production line. This line caters for all areas and forms of advertising in that we are able to
provide for indoor as well as outdoor advertising systems/needs. We are also able to cater for abnormal requirements such as backdrops for stage settings or photographic
shoots. We are also capable of providing specialised prints for the interior decorating markets e.g. prints for curtaining and duvets, as well as apparel, dress
manufacturing, scarfing etc.
As one of the leaders in the industry, we are proud to be a supplier of choice to companies such as Barloworld, Makro, Air France, The Presidency, Jetline, Hunt
